Department started on September 2007. Mass communication & Journalism is a full time 2 years post graduate course, usually known as M.A. (MCJ) & affiliated to University of Pune. The course is intended to create awareness about the socially-responsive journalism. This course is a good blend of print & broadcast journalism.
The Department of Mass communication & Journalism is active not only in teaching the syllabus prescribed by the University at the Post Graduate level but also in developing the overall personality of the individual. For this the Department organizes several co-curriculum and extra curricular activities in which the students are encouraged to participate.
